Former wrestler Dale Ball passes away at age 94

Dale was MSU's third ever All-American in 1939

Bryan Dale Ball, 94, of East Lansing died on Saturday, January 9.  Dale was a former director of the Michigan Department of Agriculture.  Dale was a varsity wrestler at Michigan State from 1937-1939 and was an All-American his senior year at 123 pounds.  Dale was passionate about wrestling and was a frequent fan at Spartan wrestling events.

Visitation is from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 21, at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home in East Lansing.  Funeral services will be Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at People's Church, East Lansing.
